I teach American Govt at Grand Rapids Community College; today many of those students gathered at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans to spend time with those vets, playing games, talking, and serving them. I was proud to be asked to address the group.
These students may well find themselves as veterans as the war waged against the US by Radical Islam is very far from over. While our president plans to withdraw our forces from the Mideast, that is far from the only area where the fight is taking place. And who knows when the next war, whatever it will be about, will start. The world is a very dangerous place.
