It was 46 years ago, 3 Jun 64, that I, along with the rest of the Class of 1964, graduated from West Point and assumed the illustrious rank of Second Lieutenant, US Army. We all began 60 days of graduation leave which was followed by Army schools (Airborne and Ranger schools for most of us), and, finally, our first troop units. Our class is still close, with many of us communicating via email on a daily or weekly basis. Our foundation of Duty, Honor, Country has served us well.
