A friend of mine, Rusty Richter, is running for State Representative; there was a local parade today–he and his team were in the parade; he asked me to join him–to ride in a restored Army jeep; I did. It was fun to help a friend and to be with people who care about our community. The only downside? I wish more people had cared enough to come and watch the parade. We were celebrating our freedom.
