There’s a wonderful group called Combat Veterans for Congress that, who would guess, promotes combat veterans who want to run for the US Congress–the candidates are vetted. They must have conservative values–as most do. To date 22 of 26 candidates have won their primaries. These fine folks clearly love their country–unto death. It’ll be nice to have that kind of dedication in Washington.
