Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa (VP, Kurdistan Region of Iraq) – Fought Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein in Iraq.
25th Anniversary of 9/11 Comments by Gen. Audino: Why we won after 9/11.
Special Guest: General Sheikh Jaafar, longtime commander of Kurdish Peshmerga forces and now Vice President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, spent years fighting not just al Qaeda but also the armies and agents of Saddam Hussein. He tells us about the years of guerrilla ops against larger enemies…including the years of Anfal (Saddam’s Kurdish Genocide…which was capped by his gassing of the Kurdish town of Halabja). Called back to duty to fight against ISIS, he led the Kurdish forces in the great Battle of Mosul, the largest ground battle since WWII.
