National POW/MIA Recognition Day

By law National POW/MIA Recognition Day is the 3d Friday of Sept. The Michigan Remembers Run is held the following day (Sat); that was today. I’m the co-chair of the MRR. Several hundred of us (I’m one of the few non-bikers) meet on the steps of the State Capitol to remember those who went to war and still haven’t returned. It was an honor to be there; I wish more folks would remember.
