Mil-spec American Flag

Today I purchased a Mil-spec American Flag (one that is made to military specifications). I should have known, but didn’t (or didn’t remember) that a mil-spec flag is quite a bit longer (stands out further from the pole when the wind is blowing) than a “regular” one. It’s now flying from the flag pole at my home.

By the way, mine is made in America and I’ve been told that there is some legislation working its way through congress that will require that all US and US government flags be made in the US. I hope it passes.
