Combat troops and credit cards

Marine Brian Roach of California was fighting in Afghanistan when he missed a couple of payments on his Bank of America credit card. Roach asked Bank of America to help him fix the bad mark on his credit report–he wasn’t asking for releif from the late fees. They told him to, to use a military term, pound sand. While some state laws protect vets, federal laws are looser and some banks, including BofA don’t make exceptions for those who are fighting to protect their freedom. I’m going to get rid of anything I have that’s affiliated with BofA.
