Stomp out fake heroes

The City of Houston had a mayoral election last Dec. At the vicory party of the winner a Houston citizen appeared in the uniform of an Army general, resplendet with very high awards for valor as well as a Purple Heart. Someone took pictures, and it turns out he was a fake. While he did serve in the Army in the 1980s, he was a private.br /br /Michael P. McManus, 44, was charged with five federal misdemeanors, accusing him of unlawfully wearing an unauthorized military uniform and prestigious combat medals, the Department of Justice said.br /br /One of the charges – wearing and possessing certain specified military awards for bravery – carries a maximum punishment of one year in federal prison and a fine of $100,000. The other four counts carry a maximum sentence of six months and a $5,000 fine.br /br /My goal. Let’s find, expose, humiliate, and jail every one of the thousands of fake heroes in our nation.
