One of the very smart things that is going on in Iraq just now is that Kurds and Iraqi are training together. This helps break down the generations of distrust. Indeed, on 27 May and a police training school conducted by NATO forces, the several hundred graduates included 43 Kurds. This is not and can not be a fast process, but step by step Iraq is becoming a stable nation. The unknown factor is the when and how hard the terrorists will strike—perhaps it will come once we pull out—do ya’ think?
