concerned veterans for america

Korean War

The Korean War began today in 1950. We weren’t ready for that war; it took us by surprise, but, in the end we won–militarily. Because of politics the Korean peninsula was and is divided and we are still at war–the fighting ended with a truce–and nothing has happened since then. North Korea is the worlds number one rogue nation; it provides weaponry (including nuclear) to all comers.

Like Vietnam, we won on the battlefield but didn’t win the war. Let’s not do that again in the Mideast.

PS. Today is also the anniversary of Custer’s last stand.
