Blindsided

Last night my wife and I saw the movie Blindside. It was great. In my not-very-humble opinion, it was the best movie I’ve seen in many years. It’s a rare Hollywood movie where a decent, religious person is the hero; normally that person is the hypocrite. Faith and honor were clearly demonstrated and recognized as good. The story line of a sense of duty to our community and nation that was demonstrated is so lacking in our nation. I’m a big, brave, retired army ranger, so I never cry–but sometimes my eyes sweat; they did last evening.
