It’s no surprise that I am not a fan of President Obama, but I must give credit where credit is due. Obama floated a draft plan that would have the VA bill veterans’ health insurance plans for the cost of treating service-connected injuries; there was a huge outcry by virtually every veterans’ organization. The result was two meetings with veterans organizations leaders and Obama and a very acceptable outcome has resulted.br /br /Obama agreed to protect the veterans, and he has kept his word. The proposal has been cancelled. Thank you, Veterans Organization leadership, for stepping up and protecting veterans. Thank you, President Obama, for listening to reason.
