Fort Knox foolishness

Last week when I heard about the foolishness at Fort Knox, I thought it was the drugs I was still on.  I knew nothing like this could happen in the US Army.  But it did.  According to the official response some unauthorized subordinate added the Tea Party folk and those opposing health care and maybe a few other kinds of us “wierdos” to the scenario to make it more “realistic.”  Then no one noticed except those troops who were upset enough to let the word out.  No, I don’t think that this in any way represents official policy, but it’s clear to me that the political-correctness factor is so high that folks who noticed the stuff were too intimidated to bring it to the attention of the chain of command.  That’s bad news.
