Gaining US Citizenship

There is no shortage of people who want to become American citizens—that’s not surprising as we Americans enjoy more freedom and prosperity that citizens of any nation on /br /Many legal emigrants who seek citizenship join our military. I believe that this is an excellent way to show commitment to our nation—indeed, I think that service in the military should be a requirement for US citizenship, for those able to /br /Well, on 12 Nov, Karl Eikenberry, US ambassador to Afghanistan, helped complete the citizenship journey for more than 120 US service members in a ceremony, by presenting them with certificates of naturalization. Eikenberry said. “I can’t think of anyone who more deserves to become a citizen of the USA than somebody that has served in the US Armed Forces.” I couldn’t agree more. Let’s make it law.
