A news release says that US Attorney General Eric Holder says there’s a real question about whether a terrorist suspect such as Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed can face the death penalty if he were to plead guilty before a military commission. Holder proposed last year trying Mohammed and four alleged accomplices in New York civilian courts.
Eric. The man is a soldier employed by a military force that has declared war on the US. He’s not a criminal to be tried as a civilian along with a bunch of car thieves. He doesn’t get all the protections of US citizens being charged with a crime. He’s a war criminal. He’s to be tried as a war criminal. We had no trouble putting Nazi war criminals to death after the Nurenburg trials. What’s your problem?
