President Obama has made it clear that until Iran toes-the-line and gets in line with UN declarations on nuclear weapons, Iran will be isolated. Problem: words don’t do anything unless they’re accompanied by actions, and Obama’s aren’t.
The day before Obama’s very weak UN resolution was passed the leaders of Russia, Turkey (our ally), and Iran met at a security summit in Turkey. Six weeks ago Iran was voted onto the UN Commission on the Status of Women. Ahmadinejad has been welcomed in Kabul, Istanbul, Copenhagen, Caracas, Brasilia, La Paz, Senegal, Gambia, and China. Isolated? I don’t think so.
