concerned veterans for america

Multiculturalism

I have no problem with people being proud of their cultural roots. I’m proud of my English, Irish, and Jewish roots. But, first I’m an American. There are too many reports of “culturally sensitive” schools acting unconstitutionally and stupidly in the name of multiculturalism. One school sent students home who were wearing clothes  showing the American Flag on Cinco De Mayo–for fear this would offend those of Mexican descent. There’s another report of students flying the Mexican flag above the American Flag at their school–again, Cinco De Mayo. This is wrong. The country we veterans defended is the US of A–it’s America. No one has to love us, but no one using tax dollars (public schools) should allow our nation to be subordinated to another country–ever.

First, we need to throw out every elected official in Washington, DC. Then let’s replace everyone in education leadership.
