Obama and outer space

I listened to some of President Obama’s first State of the Union speech last night. It reminded me that some 30 or so years ago while I was on active duty, the Army offered me the opportunity to enter the space program–this probably because my degree is in engineering. I declined. Now I wish that I’d gotten involved–I’m not sure what planet Mr. Obama lives on, but it’s not the one I live on. His speech had little to do with the reality that I know and live. So, I’d like to be a part of the search for his planet. Help your military–help us get someone much better as the Commander in Chief.
