The right to lie

To no one’s surprise the US 9th Circuit Court (the most liberal court in the nation) ruled that the Stolen Valor Act, passed by congress, is unconstitutional. The act prohibits anyone to falsely claim military awards. The right to lie–to steal the honor that comes with actually earning military awards–is, according to the judges, protected by the First Amendment. It’s clear that none of these judges have ever been in the military.
