Today in 1802 the United States Military Academy was founded at West Point, NY. While it was an engineering school when I graduated in the stone ages (1964) it was recently rated as the top school in the nation in Arts and Sciences and the leading school in providing leaders for the nation (not just the military). Happy birthday, West Point! Oh, yes, and beat navy!
