War in Afhganistan; do we want to win?

President Obama says he won’t walk away from the war in Afghanistan as he faces tough decisions – and intense administration debate – over choices that will certainly define his presidency in his first year as commander in chief.br /The Taliban attack that killed 8 Americans over the weekend certainly added to the pressure. The assault overwhelmed a remote American outpost where our forces have been stretched thin in battling the terrorists, this clearly making General McCrystal’s point that he needs reinforcements. We need to either win this war or get out and wait for them to come to us—here in the US. The only question is where do we want to fight. In the meantime, our president can’t decide what to do—while brave men are giving their lives. Leaders make decisions; I wish we had one in Washington.
