Welcome Home Troops Sign

Thanks to the initiative and funding by a local businessman (whose wife is a vet), the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, MI, now has a sign saying “Welcome Home Troops.” It was dedicated on Thursday, 21 May, by Deb Kailunas. The sign, paid for by John and Deb Kailunas, is 5’6″ by 3’6″ and features the symbols of every branch of service. Said Deb, “If I were coming home after serving, it would make me feel good to know that at least I was appreciated and I wasn’t doing it for nothing.” Thank you, John and Deb Kailunas; you honor all Americans. Thank you, Deb, for your service to our nation.
