On 21 July 2005, terrorists attempted to attack the London transit system by planting bombs on three subways and on one bus; none of the bombs detonated completely. The attempted attack came exactly two weeks after terrorists killed 56 people, including themselves, and wounded 700 in the largest attack on Great Britain since WWII. The previous attack also targeted three subways and one bus. Now that it’s clear that we’re in a Cut-n-Run mode in the Mideast, we should expect this kind of activity here. We’re in retreat–one always pursues a retreating enemy.
